São Paulo LGBTQ Pride Parade is an annual gay pride parade that has taken place in Avenida Paulista, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, since 1997. It is South America’s largest Pride parade, and is listed by Guinness World Records as the biggest pride parade in the world

LA Pride, the second largest Pride celebration in the America. Held in West Hollywood neighbourhood of Los Angeles locally referred to WeHo. Los Angeles' first pride parade, and the world's first gay pride parade, was on June 28, 1970.

Vienna Gay Pride

The Vienna Gay Pride is becoming very popular in Europe with a gay beach, concerts and village with over 100,000 attendees. A “Pride Village” is constructed in the City Hall Square for the duration of the event. Many of the city’s gay and lesbian restaurants sell food and drink from 1100 to 2200 and lounge on chairs on a man-made beach created.

The main event is the Rainbow Parade on Saturday with a mixture of gays, lesbians, drag queens, leather boys, transgenders and many more celebrating the diversity of Vienna.

There are numerous parties at different locations with majority in the district along Linke Wienzeile and Rechte Wienzeile. The Vienna gay neighbourhood is relatively compact and each to get around.

Athens Gay Pride

Athens Pride is the main LGBTQ community annual celebration in Greece. The event has been held since 2005 in city centre and has a unique Greek party atmosphere. There were other smaller pride events held on a small scale how ever since the mid 1980s.

The festivities start at 1700 on the Saturday with the parade with an official opening ceremony with the Athens Mayor, foreign diplomats and representatives of the Justice Ministry at 1900.

A concert then take place at Syntagma Square later in the evening and the main event of the pride weekend.

The Ibiza Gay Pride event is now 10 days of shows and event scheduled to encourage tolerance and equality, and to demand, with fun, colour and freedom, the rights of the LGTBQ community. One of the most popular event on the island of Ibiza.

This festive parade will feature various floats that will make a tour of several representative points of the city of Ibiza, starting from the Cofradía de Pescadores, passing through the Avenida de Santa Eulària des Riu and the Avenida de los Andenes, in the Marina neighbourhood, and ending up in the city’s port.

The new extended progam will bring more people to the island for a 2 week party. Book early to make sure you have somewehre to stay and for any event tickets.

Paris LGBTQ Pride

The Paris Gay Pride has been renamed as a LGBTQ event and is attended by more than 700,000 spectators and participants. The parade  begins on Saturday, at around 2 pm, departing at the Luxembourg Metro and finished at Place de la Republique, where there’s a Pride party from 4 pm until 9 pm.

A number of circuit parties and events takes place across Paris and mainly in the gay district of Le Marais throughout the week leading up to Paris Gay Pride.

The main event is the pride parade held on the Saturday of the pride weekend but Paris fills up from Thursday with many people leaving on the Monday. Combining the LGBTQ parade with visiting the Paris tourist attractions and shopping whilst dinning on the great food is an excellent way to make the post of your trip.

Munich Gay Pride (CSD)

Munich Gay Pride is Bavaria’s largest LGBTQ event with approximately 200,000 attendees. The event has been held since 1980 and grown in popularity. The main parade takes place on the Saturday afternoon with the Munich trams being decorated as well.

After the parade there is a street festival in Marienplatz which is Munich’s historic central square. In this square there a stage with local and international entertainers. In the evening the neo-gothic Munich City Hall is used as a large party location for the LGBTQ community which is unique for a city hall to be used for this type of party. Typically the mayor of Munich support the gay parade and why city hosts the party at the city hall.

One of Europe's largest gay pride event with the parade taking 7 hours to pass through the centre of Madrid. Commemorating the 52nd anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising the NYC Pride is one of the biggest pride events in the world. The Parade passes through the centre of NY with numerous floats and many other cities promoting local gay pride events from other cities on the parade to the huge number of attendees.

A weekend when NY turns pink and attracts tourists from NY, American cities and around the world.

Brighton Gay Pride is one of the most popular pride events in the UK. There is a popular parade through the streets of Brighton on the Saturday morning followed by huge festival event in Preston Park. Around 160,000 participants and spectators arrive in the St James Street area for the city’s biggest street party.

Antwerp Gay Pride

Antwerp in the Flemish part of Belgium is an open-minded small city with a population of around 600,000. Antwerp actually staged Belgium’s first GLBT Pride Parade in 1979. The week-long pride activities include a mixture of activities with several different themes including drag & fetish

The parade departs from Sint-Jansplein at 14.00 and passes through different neighbourhoods to Gedempte Zuiderdokken. There is an after party at the Steenplein on the riverside and a closing party on Sunday at the Grote Market followed by a number of parties and events including Drama Queen and Pink Sunday.
